Sometimes Blessing, Sometimes, Not So Much…

What Most Intuitives Don’t Tell You About Being Intuitive

Okay, fam, y’all already know what this is all gonna be about so let’s cut right to the chase.

I’m not about to go into specifics on people and readings I’ve done for them. That’s not what’s important here but, fellow intuitives, I really wanna know why y’all don’t talk about this because this is important.

Some of us have those moments where shit just syncs up. When it does, it can be a great thing. Some of y’all can write that off as coincidence if you want but how many coincidences does it take before it becomes a mathematical impossibility? Anyway, these syncs happen and when they point to something great, it can be a great motivator. It’s easily-steered into telling that person, “Yeah, boy, follow that dream. Let your passion burn greater than your fear. Fuckin’ go for it.” but when it’s not, or when those syncs happen that spell out some pretty bad things that may occur, that doesn’t just worry the querant worse than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs, we start to sweat more than a danger-hair type at a Myfarog convention alone.

When the reading is pointing to, “You’re on the right track” shit, we celebrate more than anyone. When the reading is full of warning signs…uh oh. That is a delicate situation that we need to turn motivational quick, like in a hurry.

When the news is good, it’s a blessing because I get to convey that good news to you but I’m quick to remind you that you need to do your part. Nothing good just comes to you, you got a path. Walk it.

When it’s bad news or warning signs, that’s where we have to be even more delicate because it doesn’t have to be that way. Again, responsibility is always gonna be on the querant. One such story was told in a book I was reading on the tarot where the querant went to the author, asked for readings, got them and during one, the author told her that whatever it was she was into, she needed to get out and if she did it now, it was just a nasty rumor with no basis in fact but if she didn’t tragedy was coming and her neighbor was already getting suspicious.

The querant didn’t and the author got a call from jail. It was her. She’d been part of a drug distribution operation and her neighbor…was a cop and he caught her. She asked for a reading. The author told her to get her life together first and then they’d talk. Now, she’s out, has a family and has been long outta that game.

I can tell you when you give people the warning signs and it syncs up with every message they’ve already been getting and they ignore it, you’ll always hear the words you don’t wanna hear; “I Should Have Listened…”

Those four words hurt worse than any you can imagine. It’s like watching someone headed for a cliff and you’re telling them to cut the wheel and hit that brake…and they just floor the accelerator.

It’s the syncs that tend to worry me at times. That’s because there are times I don’t need tarot cards, oracles, runes, dice or anything to tell you that the trend isn’t trending in your favor. Drive on bald tires, eventually throw a belt or watch your tire pop. Ignore all the warning signs that the cliff is on the way and you’ll eventually drive off of it to your ultimate demise. When the situations are clear to me and I’m seeing them with my own eyes, first-hand, I don’t need cards to tell you what’s on the way.

Sometimes, those syncs though, they come and hit people like me without any warning at all. The worst of it is when we don’t know what to make of them. I’ll give you an example. I had a co-worker that was depressed. I’m talking down-in-the-dumps depressed. Not much tended to cheer this co-worker of mine up. While reading one of the Dragonlance novels, I came across the character Caramon Majere. The War of The Lance was over, his brother, Raistlin had fucked off and he was back in Solace with a barely-started house, drunk on Dwarf liquor most of the time, overweight, out of shape, my boy was a mess, y’all. Then it came down to why he went from big hulking badass warrior with a great nature and caring for his brother to why he was all fucked up now. Turns out, after the war, he got his girl, Tika. As he begun to be needed less and less, he let himself go more and more. Suddenly, the image of my co-worker flashed in my head.

I caught him in the back stockroom and belted it all out. His entire problem was he didn’t feel needed and he was used to having a ton of responsibilities, people needing him and now, his position didn’t require that much. I started pointing out all the people that actually did rely on him and how things actually were. That started things for him to improve.

That’s one of those stories where things worked out. I did have another co-worker with whom I shared a warning sign about their relationship, in the end, I think the damage was done. Damage they could have repaired had they simply listened because it wasn’t just coming from me which illustrates how important that information was, it was coming from anyone and everyone who knew them.

It’s when we see things like that that I know I want to shut all of this down. We’ve all run into the “askhole.” This is the person that comes to you seeking advice and then does the exact opposite and comes back for more. This is the spiritual equivalent of that. If it’s one thing I would like to see, it’s more of my fellow intuitives talking about this particular aspect of being an intuitive, not to give anyone second thoughts on developing those innate talents and abilities but just to be very open and honest with them and that there will be days like this they face.

Sometimes, it could even come down to the fact that you dread the syncs because you know that one day you’ll say something that will have everyone around you, including you more worried than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
