Enter The Raven's Nest

Introduction of Raven Wulfgar

Let’s Just Get Started

Okay, so listed below are Substack’s standard questions. The format they give you to create a basic outline for what it is I’m writing and why. Let’s go.

1. Why this, why now

The biggest reason I’m launching this right now is that our Tribal Thane, J. Ash Odinson, strongly urged me to start posting some of my stuff here. I’m known at time for prolific Twitter threads when I have something important to say and sometimes, when I have something I think is important, I tend to post something semi-lengthy. From here on out, this is where I’ll be posting them and they’ll cover a wide range of topics.

2. What kind of community are you looking to build here

If you’re into spirituality, table-top roleplaying games, strategy games like Risk or it’s variants, tea, interesting stories or just plain old shooting the breeze about movies and TV or old pop culture, that’s what I’m looking to get into. I’m not a one-trick pony, I don’t expect the “community” that I curate will be either.

3. Be specific

Okay, let’s be clear. I don’t care about money. I just don’t. Shit I’ve done work for RPGs, books, Oracle and Tarot decks. So what do you get for free? Whatever I happen to produce on any given day. As soon as I figure this thing out I’ll drop my link tree and, if you feel like you want to give back, feel free to hit up my wish lists. If you send me something, just let me know who you are and why you sent it so that I can thank you. If you choose to never touch those wish lists, cool. Enjoy the content. That’s why I make it. Free. No strings. No guilt. No bullshit

4. Use an image and “subscribe” buttons

Use an Image, you say? Okay

5. Ignore our advice

I…blow my nose at you, you empty-headed animal food trough wiper! Your Mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!

Thank you for reading Raven’s Substack. This post is public so feel free to share it.
